This fine, poetic building is one of the most important examples of ecclesiastical architecture from the early Middle Ages.
It is located on the outskirts of Santarcangelo and is probably the oldest church in the Rimini area, dedicated to the patron saint of the city. The building dates back to the sixth century and reflects the style of Byzantine churches of Ravenna.
Of the mosaic floor and marble decorations are only a few fragments.
Church of San Michele Arcangelo is part of Road II - Via Aemilia
