Bridge of San Vito

Near S. Vito church you can see the ruins of a bridge by which a diverticulum of Via Aemilia exceeded the torrent Use in the Augustan age. The visible Masonry structures are mostly from Malatestian times, but they reuse some blocks of Istrian stone and marble, with wich they supposed the oldest bridge was built. Now the river flows to the west, therefore, the remains stand isolated in the middle of farmland.

The Bridge of San Vito is part or Route II - Via Aemilia
